Hi, My name is Julie and I started this web-site called "A Harpist's Dream" to help reach the goal of playing and building my own harp (future plans for building with my dad). Right now I just started playing the harp in October at Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, TX. I found out about the program when my teacher Alison Read played her "golden harp" at the Library in Nacogdoches. So, I took lessons for 6 weeks with the Music Prepatory Program of SFAU. I plan to continue the lessons through the help of a local sponsor! Harp Items for Sale is now up and running with a special offer of "Free Shipping" please go to the Harp Items for sale page for more details. Please be patient because it may take a few minutes for pictures to load. Please consider helping the "Harpist Dream Fund" by purchasing a harp related item. I am trying to get levers for my new harp! Thanks! Another purpose of this site is to tell you about our e-mail discussion group that will explore the topic of the relaxation techniques, harps and healing, etc. in that group plus announcements of updates to this web-site. To sign up for this group go to www.onelist.com and register for "Free". Then go to the URL www.onelist.com/subscribe/AHarpistDream OR "Search for "AHarpistDream". You will be able to sign up for our e-mail discussion group. Some off topic chatter will be tolerated as long as it doesn't get out of hand. Please leave comments about the web-site in my e-mail at julie@harp.itgo.com or julieanne_13@bigfoot.com. Thank you. I welcome suggestions for improvement!!!!
